Roy Kim (Classical Voice), 17, is a sophomore attending Campbell Hall High School. He is studying classical singing under the guidance of professional tenor Peter Jeon. He is also involved in several other singing groups, such as the Young Men’s Ensemble (LACC), Tonality Scholar, and his school choir. Classical singing has been an interest and passion of his since he was 9 years old. While he appreciates all genres of music, classical and jazz are his favorites. Beyond music, he enjoys volleyball, binge-watching shows, and exploring nature. He is also a social activist, using music as an outlet to address local and global issues. His love for classical music stems from childhood memories of watching his mother and grandmother cook while songs like, “O sole mio”, “Sous le dôme épais”, or “Nessun Dorma” were played in the background, igniting a passion for performing. Although uncertain about his future, his dream is to evoke change through his music and singing.

Phoebe Rose Claeys, 12, is an 11th grader at Seton Home Study School. Her professional credits include Peaseblossom/chorus in Midsummer Night’s Dream, Photographer’s Assistant/chorus in La Bohème, Grady Girl in The Shining, and Nibelung in Das Rheingold (The Atlanta Opera); Dance Ensemble in Halloween Spooktacular (Atlanta Symphony Orchestra); and Party Child in NUTCRACKER! (Moscow Ballet). Phoebe Rose has also performed at Carnegie Hall for the American Protégé Winners Recital after placing 1st and 2nd in the Vocal Competition and 3rd in the Competition of Romantic Music in piano. Phoebe Rose has placed in the top 10 at numerous international ballet competitions including the European Ballet Grand Prix in Vienna, International Ballet Grand Prix in Singapore, Dance Open America, Universal Ballet Competition, YAGP, and ADC|IBC.
